SPAL Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the SPAL (Sports Planning and League) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Description of Service
SPAL is a web platform designed to help sports organizers create and manage sports events and leagues.
3. User Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purposes
4. Event Management
- Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event information
- SPAL is not liable for event cancellations or changes
- Users participate in events at their own risk

6. SMS / Text Message Communications
SPAL offers optional SMS (text message) notifications. We send SMS messages only to users who have explicitly opted in, either during onboarding or by enabling SMS notifications in your account preferences. By opting in, you consent to receive transactional text messages from SPAL, such as event reminders and account-related notifications, at the phone number you provide.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by disabling SMS notifications in your account preferences or by replying STOP to any message. Message frequency varies, and standard message and data rates may apply. SMS delivery is provided on a best-effort basis and may be affected by your carrier; SPAL is not liable for undelivered or delayed messages. 7. Limitation of Liability
SPAL shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes.
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by SPAL
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms.
9.2 Termination by You
You may close your account and request deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, follow the process described on our Data Deletion page — email support@spal.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will complete the deletion within 30 days, subject to the limited retention exceptions described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws.
